Accountant/Executive Accountant

About the role

Kisah KST Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accountant/Executive Accountant to join our office in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Compiling and analysing financial data to produce reports and statements
• Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing process
• Providing support to the finance team and other departments as required
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations

What we're looking for

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experienced is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
• Proficient in the use of accounting software such as SQL and MS Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
