Position Overview
The Accounts Executive is responsible for accounting entries related to daily Account Receivables and/or Account Payables and general/ journal transactions analysis. He/ She also assists Immediate Superior / Finance & Accounts Manager in month-end closing, year-end closing, inter-company reconciliation, and data analysis. At the same time, she/ he also observes the Company’s Sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payables, such as petty cash, supplier invoices, customer receipts, follow up customers’ payments and debtor & supplier statement reconciliations using the Company’s TourPlan system.
- Support Immediate Superior / Finance & Accounts Manager in month-end, annual accounts closing and annual audit.
- Assist in inputting all transactions into the general journal related to tax, depreciation and other regular adjusting entries.
- Assist in preparation of monthly Cash Flow statements
- Assist in preparation of monthly related company reconciliation, management account listings and ratio analysis
- Assist in preparation of annual Budget and cash flow forecast.
- Assist in monitoring account department subordinates’ daily tasks.
- Assist in general banking matters.
- Communicating with related companies/ branches in relation to daily business transactions.
- Provide/ gather accounting data for sustainability reporting.
- Implement EXO’s responsible policies, including Ethical code and sustainable purchasing requirements e.g. Reduce printing: print only files which are required, printing on both sides of paper & reuse papers, ask for soft copies documents, not hard copies.
- Perform any other duties requested by the Accounting Manager or management as and when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Good command of English in both speaking & writing.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting field, OR, at least Three (3) years working experience in related department or Accounting field.
- Good knowledge of tax, working experience in the same capacity in Travel industry is an advantage.
