GENERAL WORKER

Job Details:

The Production Line Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of food processing operations. This role involves various tasks related to the inspection of raw materials, preparation of ingredients, monitoring of processing controls, and packing of products on the production line. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the work area and performing additional tasks as required to support the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify the quality of meat, vegetables, and other raw materials used in the production process to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, and organizing them for use in the production line, following food safety and hygiene practices.
• Actively participate in food processing activities, assisting in various stages such as mixing, cooking, and assembling, as per the standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and control processing conditions to maintain consistency and quality of products throughout the production process.
• Assist in the packing of finished products, ensuring proper sealing, labeling, and quality checks before the products are stored or dispatched.
• Follow quality control guidelines to identify and report any deviations or defects in the final products.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the production area by regularly cleaning work surfaces, equipment, and utensils used in food preparation.
• Comply with hygiene and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all staff.
• Provide support for other tasks as needed, including helping colleagues in different sections, managing inventory, or preparing the production area for the next shift.
• Adapt to various roles within the production line to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
