Job description
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support for decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
