Accounts Payable Specialist I

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure all invoices are approved and paid on time, maintaining the accounts payable system and resolve complex issues while ensuring adherence to procedures. You will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, based in UOA Business Park, Shah Alam. This is a hybrid workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify assigned locations invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals are compliant with internal controls, process and level of authority before payment
• Process invoices and payments for assigned locations
• To resolve invoice discrepancies and issues (identify and facilitate resolution for suppliers)
• Correspond with internal and external parties and respond to inquiries
• Reconcile unapplied pre-payment in supplier account to ensure no long outstanding item
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum a diploma / bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
• Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (both verbal and written) is required
• Accounting system experience – Oracle, SAP S4 Hana, QAD
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge is required
