Job Description :

  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and providing administrative support to management as needed.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution.
  • Evaluate supplier’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
  • In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery schedules.
  • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
  • Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
  • Build effective relationships with project team and external suppliers.
  • Assist to negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients and suppliers.
  • Assist in independent bid comparison levelling for sourcing.
  • Any other duties assigned by the HOD or Top Management.

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Chinese, English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Familiar with computer Microsoft Applications.
  • Experience working with construction industry a preference.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and multitasking.
  • Possess high level of integrity, ethical standards and attention to detail.
