Key Responsibilities

Contract Negotiation and Administration:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, change orders, and amendments with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all contracts align with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive contract files and documentation.

Cost Management and Control:

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures and forecasting costs.
  • Analyse cost reports and financial data to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Implement cost-control measures to mitigate financial risks and ensure project profitability.

Project Oversight:

  • Collaborate with project managers to oversee financial performance, budget adherence, and schedule.
  • Address and resolve contract-related issues, disputes, and claims with financial implications.
  • Conduct regular cost and performance reviews to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks associated with contract terms and performance.
  • Develop strategies to manage and mitigate financial risks, including cost overruns and delays.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports on contract performance, budget status, and compliance to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, contract modifications, and cost impacts.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related financial communications with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among all project stakeholders to address financial concerns.

Our Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/quantity surveying or a related field.
  • Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration.
  • At least 5 years working experience in tender & contract field.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and cost management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and amendments.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
