Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FSI Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions for financial institutions, leveraging Alibaba Cloud's extensive portfolio, including our advanced generative AI solutions. This role involves working closely with clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of Alibaba Cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture: - Work closely with financial institutions to understand their business challenges and design cloud-based solutions that address their specific needs. - Develop architectural blueprints for cloud-native applications, data platforms, and infrastructure using Alibaba Cloud’s suite of products and services. - Ensure that solutions are aligned with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. - Integrate Alibaba Cloud's generative AI solutions, such as Qwen, to enhance customer experiences, automate processes, and drive innovation. Customer Engagement & Consultation: - Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to help customers achieve their business objectives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and business decision-makers. - Conduct workshops, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to showcase Alibaba Cloud’s capabilities and demonstrate how they can be leveraged to solve real-world problems. - Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth. Regulatory Compliance & Security: - Ensure that all cloud solutions adhere to local financial industry regulations. - Design and implement security architectures that protect sensitive financial data, ensuring compliance with local regulations. - Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and emerging threats, and advise clients on how to mitigate risks. Technical Leadership & Collaboration: - Provide technical leadership and expertise in cloud architecture, security, compliance, AI and best practices. - Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into future product releases. - Conduct technical workshops, presentations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams

Position Requirement

Education: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: - 10+ years of working experience, with at least 3 years focused on the financial services industry. - Proven track record of designing and deploying solutions for financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, and fintech firms, cloud-based solutions would be valuable. Technical Expertise: - Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and application architecture, Generative AI would be an added advantage. - Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms. - Familiarity with financial services-specific technologies, such as core banking systems, trading platforms, and risk management tools. Industry Knowledge: - Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management principles. - Experience working with financial data, including transaction processing, reporting, and analytics. - Familiarity with payment systems, fraud detection, and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative approach to customer engagement. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A quick learner with a passion for cloud technology. - Able to think strategically about businesses, products and technical challenges.
