Responsibilities

• Raise vouchers related to banking products such as Loan, Treasury, IRS SWAP, Deposit, Foreign Remittance, Trade Financing, and other new or future products.
• Check and verify vouchers/input monitors in the SMILE core banking system.
• Input SMILE entries submitted by General Account and Admin Department.
• Prepare SWIFT MT/MX vouchers for customer remittances, loan drawdowns, Money Market Funding, IRS SWAP, and other transactions.
• Prepare reports related to Labuan operations for local management, head office, and regulatory submissions.
• Prepare monthly customer account statements.
• Conduct sanctions screening for third-party vendors and trade finance transactions.
• Prepare and review department standard operating procedures in accordance with parent bank, global policies, and standards.
  
  

Requirements

• A recognized Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
• Preferably 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a bank. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge and experience in compliance and sanction matters related to banking operations will be an added advantage.
• Sound understanding of operational workflows in trade finance, credit/loan processing, account servicing, and treasury product settlement is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality.
• Adaptive to new environments and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willing to multitask and handle responsibilities beyond routine tasks.
