Role Overview

We are looking for an Angular Developer to be based at our client site in Putrajaya. In this role, you will collaborate with dynamic international teams and play a key part in supporting a range of business functions. You’ll work closely with IT Lines and business support teams to drive effective solution delivery, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and contribute to impactful project outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Support business operations by configuring systems or developing new features in Angular applications to enhance functionality and performance
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by monitoring systems, analyzing disruptions, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future issues
• Maintain and improve code quality, with a strong focus on automation and testing efficiency
• Analyze current technology trends and identify opportunities to design innovative IT solutions that enhance productivity and streamline business operations
• Enhance and maintain documentation related to deliverables, ensuring production support and development processes are well-documented, current, and optimized for efficiency
  
  

Work Experience

• Experienced: 2-6 years of experience working as a developer (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are accepted). First understanding of development processes associated (testing, code quality, design)
• Senior: > 6 years of experience working as a developer (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are accepted). Good understanding of development processes associated (testing, code quality, design). First experience as a technical leader in a project
• Experience in developing web applications using Java/JEE technologies
• Experience in developing web applications using Angular technologies
• Experience in developing batch applications using Spring Batch
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java/JEE technologies
• Proficiency in the Angular framework for front-end development
• Proficiency in Spring Batch for batch processing
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL queries
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with IT teams and businesses
