Application Engineer

Your tasks

• Technical Consultation & Needs Analysis - Engage customers (Defence and Security) to understand their challenges, technical requirements, and pain points related to their operational needs
• Conduct technical discussions and needs assessments to identify the most suitable solutions from the company's product portfolio. Solution Design & Proposal Development
• Design solutions to meet customer needs based on company product portfolio.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, including system diagrams, bills of materials (BOM), and detailed technical specifications.
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and tenders by crafting clear, compelling, and accurate technical responses together with Sales Team. Product Presentation/Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
• Involved in product presentation/demonstrations to showcase how the proposed solution/product will meet customer requirements.
• Lead and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) activities together with Sales Team, working hands-on with customers to validate the technical viability of the proposed solution/product
• Resolved any technical questions raised by customers. Collaboration
• Liaise with the engineering, product development, and project management teams to ensure that the proposed solution is technically feasible and can be successfully implemented.
• Provide feedback from the field to product teams to help inform future product development and improvements.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, system engineering role within radio communication industry.
• Strong understanding of RF principles, including propagation, modulation techniques, and antenna theory.
• Technical understanding of radio communication equipment such as HF, VHF and UHF radio network, Electronic Warfare (EW) concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
