AQP Technician

Working Location is Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia.

Your Job

As a Technician for New Product Introduction (NPI) within the AQP team, your primary purpose is to support AQP Engineers by providing measurement, data analysis, audit, and NPI activity support. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth execution of new-product introduction launches on site.

Our Team

This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams such as AQP, Quality Assurance (QA), Manufacturing, and Process, under the supervision of an AQP Engineer.

What You Will Do

• Conduct inspections and measurements as instructed.
• Verify completion of corrective and improvement actions on the production line.
• Audit the production line as instructed.
• Perform simple data analysis as instructed.
• Update quality-related documentation.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Ability to work independently and maintain self-organization.
• Knowledge and understanding of metrology tools and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  
  
  

What Will Put You Ahead

• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or new-product introduction environment.
• Experience operating optical measurement systems, such as the OGP Smartscope.
• Experience using Minitab or other statistical software.
