AR Receivables Analyst

Job Purpose:

Drives and provides financial and commercial support to APJ TD SYNNEX’s front and back office organizations.

Responsibilities:

Account Receivable / Cash Apps

• Post daily cash receipts (EFT, Cheques, Credit Cards, TT, ACH, Wires, Jompay, FPX) to customer accounts in ERP system timely and accurately as per company's guidelines and policies
• Working with accounting team and business team to post receipting of non-trade and interco transaction into ERP system accurately
• Create and issue manual DN/CN/Invoice for trade, non-trade and interco as per company guidelines
• Reconcile payment with invoices, resolve mismatches and address unapplied / unknown payment received in bank
• Perform daily and monthly reconsiliations of bank statements amount against amount posted into ERP system
• Generate daily/weekly reports on unapplied / unknown cash received and to address with collections and business teams to identify the payment for application
• Investigate payment discrepancies, chargebacks and customer disputes collaborating with collections and business team
• Keep records of all transactions posted and evidence (payment advice/emails) in compliance with internal policies and audit requirements
• Work with Treasury, finance and credit team to resolve issues related to banks
• Support projects initiated by company such as process improvement & automation in related to cash applications
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Service oriented and ability to manage internal & external customers' expectations
• Good verbal & written skills in English. and additional languages are a plus
• Proactive and “can-do” attitude
• Flexible and organized person with ability to work in dynamic and fast paced environment
• Excellent team player within an international team
• Good analytical skills
• Result driven person
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Willing to learn and ready to grow in a multinational company
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles are required
• Bachelor's degree is a plus
