ARCHITECT INTERN

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative Architect Intern to join our architecture team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in architectural design, project management, and technical drafting. You will work closely with senior architects and project managers on a variety of projects, ranging from residential to commercial developments.

This internship is designed to provide practical, on-the-job training that aligns with your academic coursework and career aspirations in architecture.

Job Descriptions

Support in Design and Drafting:

• Assist in developing architectural drawings and designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling tools.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to design concepts.
  
  

Project Assistance

• Help prepare and update architectural plans, drawings, and models for projects.
• Work on site analysis and research to support project development.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure designs are functional, sustainable, and in compliance with local building codes.
  
  

Documentation And Presentation

• Assist in preparing project documentation, including presentation materials, design reports, and technical specifications.
• Help with client presentations and internal meetings by creating visually engaging materials.
  
  

Site Visits And Inspections

• Accompany senior architects and project managers on site visits to understand real-world project execution.
• Observe and participate in site inspections, taking notes on construction progress and design implementation.
  
  

Research And Development

• Conduct research on architectural trends, materials, and sustainability practices to inform project designs.
• Assist in the development of reports and proposals related to architectural innovation and design improvements.
  
  

Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and urban planners, to support project goals.
• Engage in team meetings and collaborate with other departments as needed.
  
  

Learning And Development

• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance architectural skills and industry knowledge.
• Regularly seek feedback and mentorship from senior architects.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Architecture or related field.
• Basic knowledge of architectural design principles and proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and take constructive feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
