Assistant Account Manager

Key Responsibilities: -
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Coordinate and facilitate external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensure the company's adherence.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and optimize cost-efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements: -
- Diploma or Bachelor in Accounting/Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in account management or relevant field.
- Proficient in using AutoCount software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical skills to assess client needs and suggest effective solutions.
