Job Summary
Responsible for day-to-day operational accounting function and monitoring the compliance of relevant control procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and monitoring of payment and compliance to internal controls and accounting
- policies.
- Data entry and maintaining of accounting records.
- Preparing journals for monthly/year end closing.
- Assisting in preparing and maintaining accounting schedules at month/year end.
- Liaise with intercompany, suppliers and bankers on invoices and statements.
- Preparation of bank reconciliation.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
STPM, Book-keeping Certificate, LCCI Diploma or equivalent
Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of using spreadsheets and accounting software
Expected Minimum Years of ExperienceMinimum 2 years working experience financial accounting functions
