ASSISTANT ENGINEER (NPI)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage project schedule, lead & coordinate DV/PV builds activities etc. by follow through project life cycle closely to align individual activities with project milestone. Must have a sense of urgency and commitment to project schedules.
• Coordinate activities of customers/suppliers to develop, qualify and implement manufacturing processes that meets manufacturing and quality goal.
• To lead project in technical aspect, drive for root cause finding and failure analysis, track process issues and problem-solving during engineering build.
• Ensure process compliance to regulatory standards and requirements and understand documentation work is part of work nature.
• Provide process time and NRE for RFQ to customer.
• Responsible for BOM and process route setup and any duties as assigned by the HOD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Lower qualifications will be considered with related experiences/skills.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experiences in manufacturing environment or related.
• Hands on experience in NPI and project handling will be an added advantage.
• Good inter-personal skills and able to work well under pressure.
• Experience in general PCBA or electromechanical assembly.
• Value added for those with below skills: -

- Possess knowledge and experience in SMT, Wave Machine, Router, Robotic Soldering, ICT or Conformal Coating, Project Management skill, DFM, DOE or Microsoft Office

- Experience in IATF Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA Creation/Validation, familiar with 5 tools including APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and FMEA.
