Job description: Job Summary

Responsible for product design and management scope, inclusive of product concept development and visioning, schematic design proposals, checking of detailed design, advising and commenting on any architectural issues for product development.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Design Stage- To analyze the development brief and to prepare overall concept plan.- To develop concept visioning and theming for products and master planning- To carry out interim product testing and feasibility to establish clear design direction and deliverables.- To work out the possible concept design options for evaluation by management.- To develop a robust design brief for external consultant to execute design vision.Schematic Design Stage- To manage external consultants’ deliverables, ensuring compliance to design direction.- To work out the possible developed design options for evaluation by management.- To ensure the design brief is being prepared in accordance with the development control guidelines.Design Development Stage- To liaise with consultants for layout & building plan preparation.- To ensure the preparation of Planning & Building Submission is in accordance to client’s brief.- To liaise with various departments for architectural related issues- To check and monitor the design development of respective architects.Post Design Development Stage- To review the approved layout & building plan (if required)- To design and discuss with consultants for architectural related issues.Others- To assist Project Management & Marketing department for any architectural related input, advise and comment.- To assist with the preparation of any Strategic Planning Materials- Any other input/advise for architectural related matter.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Architecture.
  • 6 years working experience in Architectural profession both consultancy and developer office.
Skills & Abilities

• Design skills and creativity, abilities to develop and interpret ideas into development brief.• Drafting and 3D modeling software, presentation and graphic software.• Knowledge and skill in 3D modeling, BIM and visualization tools and software is an advantage.• Demonstrate a high level of ownership and accountability for tasks undertaken.• Good interpersonal skills.• Be able to communicate effectively and work as a team with all relevant parties.
