Assistant Manager - Finance and Account

Gplex Properties Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team. This full-time position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Review journal entries and perform reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial records.
• Track cash flow and support budgeting and financial decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with auditors and provide assistance with various ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.

Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA is a bonus!).
• 3-5 years experience in managing full sets of accounts and month-end closings.
• Fluency in Mandarin.
• Skills in accounting software and Excel.
• Knowledge in accounting principles
• Knowledge in basic taxation & compliance.
• Attention to details and has good organization skills.
