Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Kelang for an Assistant Marine Officer. Some remote work is acceptable. The Assistant Marine Officer will be responsible for assisting with marine operations, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and supporting marine corps activities. The role involves regular reporting, coordination with various maritime stakeholders, and maintaining updated records of inspections and certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in Marine Corps and Maritime domains
• Skills in Marine Operations and Navy activities
• Proficiency in conducting maritime inspections
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in maritime safety or a related field is a plus
