About the role

As an Assistant Tax Consultant/Advisor at PCS Tax & Corporate Advisory PLT, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive tax advisory services to our diverse client base. This full-time position is located in Johor Bahru, Johor and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced tax professionals to develop your skills and expertise in the field of taxation.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other tax-related documents for individual and corporate clients
  • Conducting research to stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements
  • Providing support in tax planning and structuring for clients to optimise their tax positions
  • Collaborating with the tax team to identify and address client tax-related issues and concerns
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations to deliver high-quality tax advisory services
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of tax-related information

    • What we're looking for

  • Strong academic background with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements and tax planning strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving tax-related issues
  • Familiarity with tax software and electronic filing systems
