A daily stand-up and coffee with your engagement team to get energized and focused for the day, followed by engaging discussions with colleagues how to drive change in the company, meetings with the client’s senior management and a team-internal retrospective to conclude on our observations – that is how your day might look liken when you join us. Be it Kuala Lumpur or any other places where our business sits – this is where you will go as we aim to be close to our clients to deliver state-of-the-art assurance products.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Conduct risk-based internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes.
• Support the development and execution of audit plans, including scoping, testing, and documentation, to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Lead and manage a team of internal auditors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality audit execution and timely completion of audit projects.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by various business units
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Strong past performance in academics with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA or other applicable certification preferred)
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a commercial/financial role with a strong background in accounting and/or internal control policies (experience with IFRS and FRG preferred).
• Demonstrable track record of performing at a high level.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all management levels.
• Solid understanding of Data Science and/or Data Analytics tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx etc.)
• Commitment to continuous learning and to global travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves supporting China.
