Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation of bakery items, including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and shaping pastries according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
  • Monitor baking processes to ensure products are baked to the correct temperature and consistency, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
  • Decorate and package finished bakery products, ensuring they are visually appealing and properly labeled for sale.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels of ingredients and supplies, and notifying supervisors when reordering is necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery selections, answering questions, and fulfilling special orders as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, sanitation, and quality control.

Job Requirements

  • Assist in the preparation of bakery products, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and shaping pastries, ensuring accuracy and consistency in following recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards and hygiene regulations to prevent contamination and ensure a safe baking environment.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters, performing routine checks and reporting any malfunctions to ensure efficient production.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures, adjusting as needed to ensure products are baked to perfection, achieving the desired color, texture, and taste.
  • Package and label finished bakery items, ensuring accurate labeling and proper storage to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Assist in inventory management, tracking stock levels of ingredients and supplies, and notifying supervisors when reordering is necessary to avoid shortages.
  • Collaborate with other bakery staff to fulfill orders and meet production targets, working efficiently as a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
