Baking Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine baking tests on milling, batching, packing samples, and lab mill samples according to the plan to ensure the flour meets the desired quality standards.
• Perform any other testing as assigned by the superior related to competitor flour analysis, flour streaming studies, complaints, and other R&D/evaluations.
• Ensure that quality defects and other issues are reported to the superior promptly for further decision-making.
• Ensure test results are recorded accurately on testing forms with no errors, submitted on time for reporting purposes, and ensure proper filing and maintenance of documents.
• Continuously improve product-making skills by performing tests according to the schedule set by the superior.
• Assist in product demonstrations, technical training for customers/sales, and other sales activation activities.
• Maintain CSD facilities in good condition and promptly report any equipment defects or breakdowns to the superior.
• Clean the area and facility before the end of the shift, participate in 5S activities for the area in charge, and ensure adherence to the CSD master cleaning plan.
• Ensure safety procedures are strictly observed at all times and comply with the requirements of HACCP, FSSC 22000, HALAL, and other best practices.
• Ensure the confidentiality of the company's wheat grist, flour formulations, wheat, and flour quality.
• Strictly follow the company’s regulations and policies.
• Participate in Lab MBU1 by contributing to safety observations and improvement ideas.
• Comply with the requirements of FSSC 22000 and support and participate in related activities.
• Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Food Technology or any Science related.
• 1 to 2 years working experience in baking laboratory or baking industry.
• Positive work attitude.
• This position is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
