Junior Barista / Captain

  1. Promptly greet and welcome guests with hospitable manner, exemplifying warmth and friendliness.
  2. Always express gratitude and bid farewell to guests, open the door for them and convey a sincere anticipation for their next visit.
  3. Consistently apply correct service techniques, serving Food & Beverage items with enthusiasm and proficiency.
  4. Maintain attentive focus on the floor to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
  5. In the event of guest complaints or feedback, promptly refer them to your supervisors or seniors.
  6. When moving to the bar, ensure to carry an item and return with something to the station, optimising efficiency and minimising unnecessary steps.
  7. Continuously maintain a clean and well-prepared working environment.
  8. Regularly polish cutlery and water glasses to uphold high standards of presentation.
  9. Set necessary tableware & glasses on tables after guests have placed their orders, prioritising ladies first.
  10. Adhere to the essential tasks of providing water to guests and promptly clearing dirty crockery, cutlery, and used empty drinking glasses.
  11. Responsible for conducting routine maintenance and cleaning on a weekly and monthly basis.
  12. Conduct regular inventory checks and stock counting on a weekly and monthly basis.
  13. Exercise utmost care when handling the outlet's crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other items.
  14. Be prepared to undertake any ad hoc responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or the management.

Barista / Captain

  1. (Along with above)
  2. Approach the bill to the guest if they’re asking for it.
  3. Address guest queries in a polite and helpful manner, offering assistance and information as needed.
  4. In the event of guest complaints or feedback, promptly refer them to your supervisors or seniors.
  5. Conducting a training session for juniors on food, beverage, and service requires a professional approach.
  6. Document any breakages and collect the corresponding breakage fee from the responsible party.
  7. Assist guests with table reservations in a helpful and efficient manner.
  8. If the guest has a reservation, politely ask for their name and reservation details. If they don't have a reservation, assure them that you'll find them a suitable table.
  9. Familiarise oneself with the menu content, including any changes or promotional activities.
  10. Take orders from guests and provide recommendations when necessary.

Senior Baristas / Captains

  2. Provide a comprehensive orientation to new staff members, including an overview of the House Rules and Policies, and assist them with their needs.
  3. To facilitate On-The-Job training for junior employees, while supporting supervisors/managers in conducting routine team training sessions as per the established schedule.
  4. Answer phone calls, handle reservations, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner, adhering to proper phone etiquette & standards.
  5. Conduct quality checks with guests to ensure the excellence of our food, drinks, and service.
  6. Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries, requests, and resolving complaints.
  7. Ensure the accurate collection and recording of payments, both in cash and credit card transactions, following company and city procedures.
  8. To effectively handle feedback or complaints from guests with a strong focus on empathy and professionalism, aiming to foster positive guest relationships. If the complaint escalates beyond capacity to resolve, promptly seek assistance from your direct supervisor for immediate support and resolution.
  9. Be prepared to undertake any ad hoc responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or the management.
