Business Analyst

Job Scope

You will be working closely with engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to support project initiatives, track project performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You are responsible to provide technical and developmental support across the full lifecycle of projects from planning through implementation. You will be fully responsible for delivery of critical components and modules in various Data/Web projects Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering
  • Identify and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis.
  • Understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Analyze requirements to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Process Analysis and Improvement
  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Design optimized processes that align with business goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure adoption.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure their needs are understood and met.
  • Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze business data to inform decisions and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to create reports and dashboards to support business strategy and operations.
• Solution Assessment and Validation
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Validate and verify that the implemented solutions deliver the desired outcomes.
• Documentation
  • Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and process flows.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accurately reflects business needs.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent.
• Candidate must possess at least 2-3 years of project management experience in the software development industry OR equivalent.
• Strong analytical and written skills with the ability to translate business requirements from end users to technical requirements.
• Strong team player.
• Able to work under stress to meet deadline.
• Responsive and have self-initiative to ensure project quality.
• Passionate about technology, project and people management.
