We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst Engineer (BAE) to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The BAE will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, objectives, and challenges.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories.
- Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented accurately.
- Support the development and testing phases by clarifying requirements and validating outcomes.
- Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, data models, test scripts, and functional specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technology strategies.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must be able to work at the i-City Shah Alam office.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS.
- Payment domain experience.
- Strong knowledge of transaction fee exchange and transaction switching processes.
