We are looking for a business developer with excellent market and industry knowledge and the ability to navigate complex tender processes, negotiations and contract management. The ideal candidate has his roots in the Asia Pacific region therefore an excellent cultural awareness and is fluent in Chinese and English. Every other Asian language is a plus.

What You'll Do On a Typical Day
- Seek out the appropriate contacts in an organization, generate leads, schedule and conduct meetings with Clients- face to face / online.
- Win profitable contracts in collaboration with various of our subsidiaries throughout the region
- Research and identify new Business opportunities in APAC - New markets, growth areas, trends, customers, projects, partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Early identification of target projects to develop potential solutions in advance of project being awarded- engaging with Clients / Developers / Consultants

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales or Business Development. Engineering background and experience will be given priority.
- Very good working skills in English and Mandarin (both verbal and correspondence) is a must. Every additional Asian language is a plus.
- Excellent project and sales management skills. Strong business acumen as well as organizational and analytical skills.
- Willing to do a high travel mode, including travelling to remote places within the APAC region and to work remotely.
- Good knowledge of PERI product portfolio, PERI business models and standard processes advantageous.
- Knowledge of APAC construction market, regulations, and work ethic advantageous.
- Confident and assertive with a self-motivated approach and flexible attitude.
- Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
- Entrepreneurial, stress-resistant, and hands-on mentality.
