Role Overview:

As the Business Development Lead for a high-performance Orderbook project from 0 to 1, you will be responsible for engaging mid-sized professional market makers and arbitrage institutions across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Your mission is to drive the adoption of a low-latency matching platform. This is a full-cycle role—from identifying needs and signing LOIs to ensuring the successful onboarding and strategy deployment. The role requires strategic vision, senior-level negotiation capabilities, and strong technical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to and negotiate with target institutions (Top 100 market makers) to sign LOIs and establish early strategic partnerships.
  • Deeply understand institutional strategy types (e.g., Maker/Taker, trading frequency, lending, rebates) to effectively align platform features and incentives.
  • Lead and coordinate API integration pilots, working closely with technical teams for Beta testing and real-time trading implementation.
  • Maintain strong institutional relationships by regularly reviewing partnership performance (latency, capital efficiency, strategy stability), and drive long-term commercial conversion.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive strategies to provide forward-looking input on incentive models and product design.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Compliance teams to produce targeted promotional and regulatory support materials.
