Job Description

Job Description – CCTV Installer (Piping, Cabling & Termination)

Position: CCTV Installer / Technician

Responsibilities:

Install CCTV infrastructure including PVC/EMT conduit piping, trunking, and cable containment systems according to site layout and drawings

Pull, route, and manage network (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A) and power cables for CCTV cameras and related equipment

Perform proper cable termination for RJ45 connectors, patch panels, keystone jacks, and camera connectors

Ensure all cabling work complies with industry standards, safety requirements, and neat workmanship practices

Label cables clearly and maintain organized cable routing for ease of maintenance

Conduct basic testing and verification of cable continuity and termination quality

Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other technicians during installation works

Maintain tools, materials, and ensure work areas are kept clean and safe
