Civil and Structural Senior Engineer (Consulting Design)

Job Requirement:

• Degree in civil/structural engineering, post-graduate degree in relevant discipline is an advantage
• Minimum 5 to 8 years with relevant design experience in regular, high-rise buildings and industrial facilities as well as master infrastructure planning and design
• Excellent understanding of Code of Practice and local authority submission process
• Prior project management experience will be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge on structural and infrastructure engineering design related computing skills is preferred
• Ability to engage multi-disciplinary team in mega projects to achieve results for the clients
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Those with registration as Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) or Professional Engineer (PE) will be an added advantage
• The position offered will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.

Job Description:

• Prepare drawings related to civil and structural; engineering works such as high-rise buildings, industrial facilities, external infrastructure, water retaining structures, etc.
• Prepare and handle submission of project designs and requirements to authorities
• Work closely with client from the project inception stages to develop concept design
• Provide assistance in preparing tender documents and proposal.
• Ensure good and proper project documentations of all correspondences and exchanges between clients and other relevant parties.
• Attend meeting and inspection and provide support from planning to construction stage of project
