Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural BIM Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and be proficient in BIM software.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for civil and structural engineering scope, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and other team members to develop and refine BIM models.
- Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D Tekla Structures) to create and manage project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Coordinate structural elements with other disciplines (architectural, mechanical, electrical) within the BIM model.
- Perform clash detection and interference checks to identify and resolve conflicts in the design.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in structural BIM modeling, preferably with at least 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit or Tekla Structures.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
