Develop, implement and maintain project accounting systems to ensure accurate cost accounting and reporting in line and internal policies and procedures
Monitor the activities of accounting standard setting bodies and prepare operational/financial impact assessments of proposed and adopted accounting standards
Work closely with the others department to clear technical matters, report quarterly accounting updates, prepare representation letters
Support the finance and treasury teams with accounting practices and cash flow tasks
Oversee the general accounting team by owning and managing the month and quarter-end close process for our Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce business for each country in which we operate
Research and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for technical matters
Support the finance and treasury teams with accounting practices and cash flow tasks, including review of cash flows
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the organization keeping abreast of new and updated accounting pronouncements
Update and coordinate feedback from others within the organization related to Finance and Accounting policies
Begin implementation of new accounting pronouncements related to Revenue Recognition and Leases
