Job Title: Clinical Instructor / General Trainer

Reports To: Assigned Manager or Managing Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for teaching and supervising staff in various healthcare settings. The incumbent will collaborate with a team of experienced nursing professionals to provide staffs with quality nursing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all clinical activities and working of all nurses, caregiver and administer and present all content for resort.
  • Oversee all activities of patient care and ensure optimal level of care in clinical setting and participate in various education programs and ensure compliance to all plans.
  • Assist all nurses/caregiver to adjust to trainee group and ensure optimal work performance in assign ward to meet all customer objectives and train all staff to minimize infection and contamination.
  • Train all staff to identify signs of patient health deterioration and clinical equipment malfunction to ensure achievement of all course objectives.
  • Coordinate with staffs and manage all communication with same and provide optimal level of training through practical training.
  • Assist all managers and staffs to analyse all staffs’ requirements and ensure appropriate resources in facility for same and assist in various activities.
  • Prepare all staff assignments and ensure compliance to all programs and evaluate performance of all trainees in classroom clinical training.
  • Organize various group conferences to assist all staff to share all clinical experiences and assist all instructors to prepare appropriate classroom instructions for all nurses and provide training on all clinical technical procedures.Develop and maintain good professional relations with staff and resident/patient of nursing and participate in all processes.
  • Train and provide feedback to all nursing staffs to ensure optimal quality of work and provide consultation to various nurses.

Additional Duties

  • Attend and complete all annual training requirements.
  • Attend all required meetings and case reporting sessions.
  • Assigned other responsibilities as needed (pre- agreed with the client and this company) Self- directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift, position or transfer patients. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
  • Conduct training for grooming new staff and training for the professional staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of diploma in nursing Experienced in caring for elderly, chronic care patients and children.
  • Experiences working in old folks’ home, childcare centre, hospitals are an advantage.
  • Able to converse and write in English, Malay language.
  • Able to function with minimal supervision, honest and reliable.
