You’ll be part of a team that is responsible for the Security of Grab Cloud platform which is one of the largest deployments in the region.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to take a lead on the infrastructure security engineering projects. You will report into the Engineering Manager and be based onsite in Malaysia. We believe you have cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, integration, and development skills. This role is required because we are expanding our regional infrastructure security capabilities. In return, you will work with a great team working on complex architectures and managing cloud security of one of the largest cloud deployments in the region.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support of internal tools, improve system health and reliability.
• Manage a secure and reliable security monitoring platform for delivering Grab services. Specific services include ELK, AWS security-related services like Config, GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel, AWS WAF, Azure Monitor, SSO providers Okta and JumpCloud, Kubernetes

• Create tools for automating deployment, monitoring and operations of the security platform
.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide infrastructure support, incident management, and troubleshooting
 of IAM .
  

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 2+ years of relevant experience building production applications
• Proficient in managing public cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Perform automation using Terraform/Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Docker/Kubernetes, and any one CI tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab, Travis CI)
• Comfortable to code in at least one high-level programming language - JavaScript, Java, Python or Golang for scripting and automation.
