Your daily responsibilities include:

Quality Management System (QMS):

  • Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS to comply with ISO 9001, or other relevant standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, including customer, certification body, and regulatory audits.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure timely and effective closure.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Train and guide employees on QMS requirements, procedures, and best practices.

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS):

  • Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Malaysian DOSH requirements, and other local regulatory standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce workplace hazards, environmental impact, and ensure a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Lead EHS awareness campaigns, training, and emergency preparedness drills.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and customer-specific requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, HR, Procurement) to embed quality and safety practices into daily operations.
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to identify improvement opportunities in QMS and EHS processes.
  • Prepare and present compliance performance reports to management.

Additionally, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in QMS and/or EHS within an EMS or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related standards.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian DOSH regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with audits, CAPA management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Certification in internal auditing, safety management, or Lean/Six Sigma is an advantage.
