The Siemens Energy (SE) Customs team all customs related matters, ensuring full compliance with applicable customs regulations and internal requirements in an optimal and efficient manner.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Customs Specialist you will be part of a highly motivated customs team with a high growth perspective, and you will be performing customs clearances operations (import/export). In addition, you will also have different administrative tasks, including:

• Implementing customs processes as well as conducting sample checks in the business and following up on these
• Supporting the business by answering customs related questions both internally as well as from suppliers/freight forwarders etc.
• Following up on the closure of export declarations with the Freight Forwarders
• Maintaining and ensuring documentation of all operational tasks
  
  
  

What You Bring

• You have a background with administrative tasks and are thorough with the data that you handle.
• Proven experience as Customs Broker, worked in logistics, freight forwarding or similar and have preferably specialized in international trade and transport, but this is not an absolute requirement as you will be trained in the tasks that you will be doing.
• Sound knowledge in international trade studies/ Customs or the willingness to educate yourself to get it
• As a person you are forthcoming, positive and proactive, and you are good at multitasking and understand the importance of meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
• You possess strong coordination and communication skills and are a dedicated team player with the ability to work independently.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment, and you are open to changes.
• An experienced user of Microsoft Office, and preferably of SAP, and you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
