Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Executive to join our General Logistics team in Malaysia. In this role, you will manage all aspects of logistics operations, including freight arrangements, customs clearance, and pick-up/delivery activities. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, vendors, and network offices to ensure smooth shipment execution, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Executive to join our General Logistics team in Malaysia. In this role, you will manage all aspects of logistics operations, including freight arrangements, customs clearance, and pick-up/delivery activities. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, vendors, and network offices to ensure smooth shipment execution, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Your Role
- Manage end-to-end logistics for in-gauge shipments via air, ocean, and road, including quoting, organizing, billing, documentation, and operational coordination.
- Liaise with airlines, carriers, co-loaders, suppliers, and overseas offices to secure competitive rates and ensure efficient shipment handling.
- Monitor shipment progress, address delays or damages, and provide regular updates to customers.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, customer KPIs, and company policies, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Verify the accuracy of shipment documentation (e.g., MBL/HBL, MAWB/HAWB, invoices) and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders—customers, carriers, customs, and internal teams—to ensure timely delivery and avoid additional costs.
- Perform accurate billing based on valid quotations and maintain updated records for future reference.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the sea freight/logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight operations, shipment processes, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Office365 tools and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness and capability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
