Data Analyst (F&B Industry)

Job Description

• Gathering data from various sources, such as database and spreadsheets. Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analysing data using statistical techniques, identifying trends, patterns and correlations in large data sets to inform business strategy and decision making.
• Creating visual representations of data, such as charts, graphs and dashboards, using tools such as Power BI. Presenting data findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner to facilitate decision making.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, human resource, finance and management to understand their data needs and provide insights.
• Ensuring data integrity and security by following data governance standards and compliance regulations

Requirement

• Degree in relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Business Analytics
• Certifications in data analysis tools and techniques such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with the retail or food & beverage industry, including sales cycles, inventory management and customer preferences.
• Ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving abilities to identify trends, issues and opportunities in data.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in data analysis and reporting.
