Data & Analytics Specialist

Royal Friesland Campina is looking for a proactive and analytical Data Modeler to join our team. As the data modeler, you are a key contributor to building data modelling capability within the company. Internally you will collaborate closely with the team from Data Analytics and Integration cluster. Towards our Data Modeling community, you will act as a subject matter expert, to drive knowledge exchange and develop best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business and technology, with the ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical capabilities.

What We Ask

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or relevant.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience with SAP and BW is a plus.
• Experience in Erwin Data Modelling is considered a plus.
• Deep understanding in conceptual and logical & physical data modelling.
• Good understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Databricks & Powerbi is preferred.
• Experience with data engineering processes and tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• You will collaborate with the Regional and Global IT Data & Analytics team to support and leverage the Azure Data Platform they are building, with a value creation mindset for the operating company.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models that accurately represent business processes and align with organizational goals.
• Design dimensional models for data warehousing and business intelligence applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and usability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and developers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
