A leading manufacturing multinational corporation. With a 4 billion USD worldwide market, it is looking to expand its Malaysia shared services center and hire Demand Planner (Europe Markets) talents. There are junior up to senior positions available across the function.

Responsibilities

• EMEA Shift hours: 2pm - 11pm Malaysia hours, working shifts may change depending on management directions.
• Serve as a key team member in the End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain Planning team within one of company's five divisions, focusing on:
• Oversee supply chain planning processes including tactical and strategic planning.
• Handle major order escalations and backlog management.
• Coordinate and optimize E2E master data.
• Analyze stock-outs and work center overloads to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Generate statistical forecasts for materials, create manual forecasts for key materials, and develop consensus forecasts using Integrated Business Planning (IBP) principles.
• Analyze lead times, develop stocking strategies, manage stock buffering, and ensure shelf-life management.
• Produce accurate supply projections for production, vendors, and inventory.
• Build a resilient and agile supply chain by recommending changes such as new material variants, production shifts, and product re-engineering.
• Proactively propose solutions to minimize backlogs within the division.
• Define and implement effective business planning parameters.
  
  

Requirement

• Bachelor/ Master's degree in Engineering, Natural Science, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive communication approach.
• Ability to work independently and think strategically in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to solve customer problems and inquiries in a high demand, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
