Job scope:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Maintaining patient accounts and records.
  • Providing text reminders for follow-up appointments.
  • Keeping track of office supplies and place orders for more supplies when necessary.
  • Performing basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and preparing billing statements
  • Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing etc.
  • Ensure a high standard of infection control.
  • Ensure all clinic equipment is in good working condition
  • Ensures smooth clinic operation on a day-to-day basis
  • Prepares patients for dental treatments according to protocols
  • Works closely with the dentist in a professional manner, providing assistance during all dental procedures
  • Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
  • Performing preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts
