About the role

VR CONSULTANT SDN BHD is seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and developing civil and structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects
  • Conducting detailed analyses and calculations to ensure the structural integrity and compliance of designs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering solutions into larger project scopes
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Providing technical support and advice to project stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases
  • Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in civil and structural engineering
  • Continuously improving design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from recognised university
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Advantage if having experience in Staad Pro, Esteem, Autocad, Microsoft Office
  • Posses valid Class D driving license
  • Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
