  • Plan, conceptualise and create mechanical designs for new products and for improvement of the existing products.
  • Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs.
  • Responsible for new product design and new product cost calculation.
  • To liaise with Factory Manager and Top Management for any technical issues during new product development.
  • Review customers' part design and propose DFM (Design For Manufacturing).
  • Manage new product and tooling design activities to ensure proper new start-up compliance with customer requirements.
  • Create and review technical drawings, plans and specifications using computer software.
  • Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering and operation teams and with partners and raw material manufacturers.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, schedule changes and recommending actions.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
