As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining system performance, automating workflows, and ensuring high-quality deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, deploy new features, and implement security best practices, while continuously improving processes and documentation.

Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining system performance, automating workflows, and ensuring high-quality deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, deploy new features, and implement security best practices, while continuously improving processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance, investigate alerts, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
- Collaborate with teams in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach to resolve challenges and deliver new features
- Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines for automated integration and deployment
- Automate manual tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity (e.g., Jenkins files, shared libraries)
- Maintain and improve production support and development cycle documentation
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including compliance checks and secure deployment processes
- 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong understanding of software development processes and/or developer experience
- Experience in the finance, banking, or insurance sector is preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Alternative learning paths (e.g., coding bootcamps) will be considered
- Certification in DevOps practices is an advantage
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, RTC, SonarQube, and JUnit
- Experience in development using Java
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks
- Hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure (Linux servers, JBoss, Tomcat)
- Proficiency in Oracle and SQL databases
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace)
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Familiarity with collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release, and test management)
