Why this role?

We are seeking a Regional Operations Engineer with expertise in IoT operations management and smart building technology. This role will focus on managing and optimizing IoT operations across various regional sites, ensuring the seamless execution of projects while maintaining high operational standards. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in the software development lifecycle, and the ability to manage operational KPIs effectively. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work comfortably in diverse cultural environments. Some travel is required.

What will you be doing?

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of IoT systems in regional smart building projects.
• Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) for IoT systems, ensuring timely and quality project delivery.
• Track, analyze, and report on operational KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of IoT operations management, including device connectivity, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage and meet operational KPIs and targets across multiple regional sites.
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams in different regions.
• Hands-on problem solver with a proactive approach to addressing operational and technical challenges.
• Willingness to travel regionally to support project implementations and operations.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering IoT projects.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices in IoT environments.
• Familiarity with IoT platforms, data integration, and cloud services.
• Prior experience working with smart building technologies is preferred.
  
  

Are you the one?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0-3+ years of experience in IoT operations, smart buildings, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet operational targets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
