Document controller

Responsibilities

To ensure that all documents are traceable by creating a system for documentation and control of documents for circulation.
Maintain, replace and distribute controlled documents.
Documents requiring changes to be reviewed and updated in a timely manner.
To ensure the documents remain legible, readily identifiable and retrievable.
To ensure the security, accessibility and distribution of all documents.
To ensure current authorized versions of documents are available to Clinipath’s personnel.
To ensure that all incoming and outgoing documents are recorded and filed accordingly.
To ensure that documents of external origin are identified and their distribution controlled.
To prevent the unintended use of obsolete documents and to apply suitable identification to them if they are retained for any purpose.
To ensure that obsolete documents are promptly removed from all points of use.
To ensure all documents relevant to QMS to be uniquely identified with title, current version number or revision number, authority for issue, etc.
Sort, distribute & file incoming and outgoing correspondence with Standards Malaysia.
To maintain records pertaining to the laboratory as assigned by the Lab Manager and Quality Manager.
To develop, plan and conduct meetings and presentations related to document management.
To perform any duties as instructed by the Lab Manager and the Quality Manager from time to time.
