DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical drafting and design, with proficiency in AUTOCAD software. This role involves creating detailed drawings and plans for various projects, collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Collaborate with engineers/production team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and verify designs for compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare & submit documentation, including specifications, bills of materials, and technical reports.
• Assist in the development and improvement of design processes and methodologies.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather data and ensure design accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering principles, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
