ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a Construction Manager – E&I to support a major Oil & Gas construction project in Malaysia.

The role focuses on supervising all Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities, ensuring technical integrity, coordination with contractors and suppliers, and full compliance with project standards, HSE requirements and construction procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of E&I construction progress, including cost-control data
  • Guarantee technical integrity of E&I works and enforce applicable HSE procedures and standards
  • Coordinate activities between the construction contractor and project suppliers
  • Manage and monitor E&I material control throughout the construction phase
  • Certify work progress and quantities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Monitor that E&I construction activities are executed in line with project schedule and budget, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions
  • Verify that construction works comply with contractual scope, project specifications and procedures
  • Coordinate interfaces between Suppliers and the Construction Contractor
  • Lead the E&I supervision team and support inspections, audits and visits by third parties or stakeholders
  • Support Mechanical Completion and handover activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
  • Contribute to the planning and monitoring of commissioning activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 10 years in E&I construction roles
  • Solid understanding of process systems, plant automation systems, power generation equipment and welding engineering
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, inspection and testing techniques
  • Good understanding of QA/QC systems applied to construction activities
  • Strong awareness of HSE requirements and implementation of safety standards
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Experience in managing construction contracts, variations and claims
  • Proven ability in planning and monitoring construction and commissioning activities
  • Experience with Mechanical Completion and handover processes
  • Good command of English

Project Details:

  • Job Location: Malaysia – onshore Oil & Gas site
  • Project Scope: Electrical & Instrumentation construction and coordination activities
  • Work Schedule: 10 hours/day – 6 days/week
  • Start Date: December 2025
  • End Date: March 2026
  • Duration: Approx. 4 months, with possible extensions
