About the Role

Step into the world of global banking! As a Corporate Banking Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in relationship management, credit analysis, and client servicing. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how we develop strategic financial solutions for multinational corporations and support their global operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Support in preparation of strategic and financial presentations for management meetings, internal stakeholders meeting and for business reviews to Management as well as regional stakeholders.
  • Prepare accurate timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports for the Global Corporate (GC).
  • Support in completing overall GC’s budget including but not limited to branch expenses, investments, asset & liability and headcount.
  • Work in partnership with various departments to collect and coordinate information to prepare business planning, KPIs, budget and actions plan.
  • Attend to all correspondence from external and internal customers on efficient manner.
  • Support the Head of Department and Managing Director or team members in other assignments which may be delegated from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a recognized higher learning institution in Malaysia, pursuing a degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields, where internship is a mandatory component for course completion.
  • Final-year student with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
  • Available to work full-time for 10 weeks starting January 2026.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus.
  • Strong interest in Global Corporate Banking, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.

Note:

  • Interns will receive an allowance of RM1,500 per month.
